Wedding Photography The Plough Inn, Rhosmaen, Carmarthenshire, South Wales - Alys & David

I had an absolutely fantastic time photographing Alys & David's Bond-themed wedding in April at The Plough, Rhosmaen.

The Plough Inn near Llandeilo is a stunning hotel wedding venue, which now benefits from the recent addition of an outdoor ceremony space.

I arrived at the venue at the same time as Alys and her bridesmaids and we headed straight for the bridal suite to start capturing some details before the ladies got into their beautiful dresses.

As the girl's dresses were finessed, I had the opportunity to dash outside to get some pictures of the handsome, tuxedo-clad groomsmen arriving in full Bond-style splendour.

The ceremony was beautiful, with the onlooking guests having a wonderful view of the proceedings. From the walk down the aisle to the first kiss, it was a real showstopper!

As the I do's were complete we moved into the conservatory for drinks and amazing close-up magic from local magician Adam James Reeves, who had everyone in shock, hysterical laughter and awe!

After some of the obligatory (but hilarious) group photos, we relocated to the dining room for speeches. After the groom had made his feelings towards the new Mrs Rees clear with his gorgeous, heartfelt words, David's best men proceeded to tell stories that left the groom a little red-faced with laughter and cringe in equal measures, before bringing a few tears by sharing their thoughts on how David has been such a great friend to them over so many years!

Although Alys and David had originally decided not to have a traditional first dance, I was so pleased that they changed their minds. It gave everyone the opportunity to see the love shared between these two fantastic people on their wedding day.
