Wedding Photography Cutler's Hall, Klosterhaus, Bristol - Emma & Nish

What a pleasure it was to photograph Emma and Nish's wedding ceremony at the Latern room (Bristol Register Office) and then on to Cutler's hall, Klosterhaus, for a fabulous reception.

When Emma first contacted me I knew I would enjoy this wedding. She told me all about their plans for the big day, along with ideas to head across to Castle park for some photos after the ceremony. The wedding day certainly didn't disappoint!

I arrived in Bristol and headed over to the Register office on what seemed like one of the warmest, sunniest Saturdays I had seen for a long time. It was great to see so many people enjoying the beautiful weather after so long spent in recent lockdowns!

It was my first experience of The Lantern Room in the Bristol register office, I have to say this really is a spectacular space.

Emma and Nish arrived almost simultaneously for the ceremony. Both of them looked amazing. Nish in his sharp navy suit and Emma in her spectacular traditional Indian wedding dress. The wedding party and the guests had all followed suit and arrived in fabulously colourful attire!

The ceremony was soon underway and was being live-streamed via video link to family across the world. Readings that the couple had written to each other really did make everyone a little choked up. It wasn't long before the "I do's" were done, and after some group shots outside the Register office, Emma, Nish and I headed over to Castel park in the glorious sunshine to take some photos. I loved wandering around the park with the newlyweds. some passers-by offered their congratulations to the happy couple as I photographed them for the first time as Mr & Mrs!

After spending time in the park, we headed over to join the guests at Cutler's hall, Klosterhaus, where we were greeted by the fabulous staff. The champagne and food were soon served and as the evening began, we were all treated to some wonderful speeches where we learned a great deal about Nish's time as a student!

When the food had been finished and the drinks were flowing, the DJ began the evening entertainment. This moment brought about the first dance for Emma and Nish, which in their naturally entertaining way, was fun and upbeat, with some steps that I'm not sure my two left feet would be able to follow!!

This was an amazing day, with some equally amazing people. Congratulations Emma and Nish!
